I am sooo excited!
Papoose Pure and Pupucci Pure are happening as we speak.
I have been very interested in getting the organic side of both the toys and the garments happening
and as from now, we're in production...
I spent a couple of weeks in Indonesia establishing and firming up relationships with
dyers and sewers, as well as completing our first range of organic toys.
These will be marketed under the label of Papoose Pure.
We use certified organic cotton for the fabric and natural dyes for the colour.
Unfortunately, out of practical considerations and because of a lack of organic filler,
we have to use a synthetic filler. I am doing some research to see if there's anything
organic out there that we can use but apart from using wool have not been successful so far.
(Wool is not locally available)

The beauty of the range is that apart from being organic, each piece will end up being an original
due to the variations in the dyeing process. Not only are organic dyes (from plant material)
somewhat variable in colour (differences in season affect the end result) the hand processes used
(all fabric is hand dyed) guarantee the uniqueness of each piece.

Papoose Pure is setting a new standard in soft toys; beautifully sewn, with attention to detail,( no
buttons or beads are used for safety) these colourful characters are sure to capture
your heart. When my gorgeous sewing lady asked if she could please have one monkey
because she was in love with it I had to tell her NO! I couldn't bear to part with any of my samples
and I promised her a monkey when we started production.
